PGET 2014 Results – National Board of Examination (NBE) has published the PGET 2014 Results for both Medical & Dental. National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, conducted the Karnataka Postgraduate Medical Entrance Test (PGET 2014) for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses, commencing in 2014.

PGET 2014 is the qualifying entrance exam for admission of students to PG Medical courses in the state quota seats in Karnataka Government colleges and institutions and Karnataka Government Quota seats in private Medial colleges / Institutions / Deemed universities.
Candidates must have passed MBBS degree from any of the Medical colleges recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The Candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidates must have completed rotating one year internship.
Scheme of Examination
National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi, conducted the Karnataka Postgraduate Medical Entrance Test (PGET 2014) for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses, commencing in 2014.
The State Government of Karnataka will adopt the ranking in the PGET for drawing up the merit list for admission session for the academic year2014-15. The eligibility for appearing in the entrance test and admissions to the various degree and diploma courses shall be determined as per the rules and circularsand notificationslaid down by the State Government; this includes the applicability of in-service, domicile, state/university of graduation, reservations and constitutional provisions etc.
“Government Quota Seats” means all the seats in Government Medical Colleges and Institutions (excluding All India Quota Seats) in Post Graduate Degree and Diploma courses in Medical Sciences and such number of seats in the private Professional Educational Institutions including Deemed Universities as may be notified by the State Government from time to time in accordance with the consensus arrived at between the private professional educational institutions and the State Government, for being filled up in accordance with these rules.
